About us
Creative Square Bookkeeping is no ordinary bookkeeping service, and our birth was quite unusual. Originally the business started as a film and television production company.
As we grew, we diversified into encompassed photography, aerial operations, equipment hire and crewing services, and our bookkeeping requirements became more involved and demanding.
Knowing the somewhat dubious reputation of creative people doing their own bookkeeping we eventually decided to offer our hard-won expertise to like-minded business operators.
Hence, Creative Square Bookkeeping. We still operate as Picture Hire Australia, the market leader in camera rental in Adelaide, with Creative Square Bookkeeping a separate sister company.
Our Team
Cass Ellison Business Manager
Cass has an extensive CV including time with the Auditor General’s Department auditing various large Government Departments and Universities, as well as smaller organisations. She has worked for a private accounting firm, small businesses and more recently as the Admin and Finance manager for Picture Hire Australia.
Dai Cookes Managing Partner
Dai has had a “creative” career in many senses. Some of the highlights include: physics teacher, professional musician, recording engineer, retailer, broadcast cameraman, drone instructor, and camera rental company proprietor. He last worked for wages in the 1970’s, so he understands the fulfilment as well as the challenges that business ownership can bring.
